The studio is having new flooring installed! 🎉 Miss Lori will be on vacation during this time, but Miss Cas will be checking emails.

Located at 14 E. Lancaster Avenue in Paoli, PA, we’re a cozy, colorful space where kids can explore the joy of art through open-ended projects and playful creative invitations.

At Bright Day Studio, the focus isn’t on perfection — it’s about curiosity, experimentation, and the process of making. We nurture imagination, build confidence, and create space for kids to connect, unwind, and just be themselves.

With small group sizes (fewer than 10 children), every child gets the personal attention and encouragement they need to thrive.

Fall Schedule Starts Monday, Sept. 15th!

We’re thrilled to share our brand-new lineup of classes at Bright Day Studio! With fresh offerings for ages 18 months to 10 years, there’s something for every child—from curious toddlers to big kids ready to dive deeper into art. Join us this fall for hands-on projects, sensory play, story-inspired art, and plenty of fun along the way!

Process Art

At Bright Day Studio, we love process art — the kind of art that’s all about the experience, not just the finished product. We believe that when kids are free to explore materials, follow their curiosity, and make their own creative choices, they gain so much more than just art skills.

That said, we don’t do only process art. Many of our projects weave in techniques, tools, and themes that help build artistic skills — but always in a way that leaves room for personal expression and playful discovery.

We offer a thoughtful balance of structure and freedom so kids can:

  • Try new materials without pressure

  • Develop confidence in their ideas

  • Make art that’s meaningful to them

  • “We threw my daughter's 5th birthday party at Bright Day Studio and it was such a great time for everyone! From start to finish Lori was very organized and detailed, which I really appreciated. Lori and her team even customized a "rainbow realm" art project for my daughter whose theme was, you guessed it, rainbows! Every partygoer walked away with a lovely keepsake they made and could use to decorate their rooms. We even had a few kids show up late and miss out on the project--but Lori was kind enough to pack up extra art supplies so they could make their own project at home. FAQs

  • Process art focuses on the act of creating rather than following steps to produce identical pieces. It encourages exploration, creative expression, risk-taking, problem-solving, following instincts and the pursuit of flow. Each piece of artwork may be vastly different.

  • Developmentally appropriate techniques, art vocabulary and some art history will be woven into our sessions. If you are looking for advanced art instruction, I highly recommend the Wayne Art Center or The Mainline Art Center.

  • Yes, of course! Sensory play is fun for all ages, but is especially important for younger children, as it allows them to explore & learn about their world, build hand strength and coordination for handwriting and fosters creative exploration.

  • Due to the difficulty of coordinating makeup classes, we are unable to provide make-up sessions or refunds for missed classes. We appreciate your commitment to attending classes as scheduled to ensure the best experience for everyone.

Community Partners

  • The Paoli Library is a gem tucked in next to the Wells Fargo Bank in Paoli. Bright Day Studio offers monthly process art classes at the library, which are free for the community.

  • The Easttown Library is an amazing library located in Berwyn. Bright Day Studio teaches process art classes for elementary-aged children there, which are free for the community.

  • Lolo Leo is a wonderful bilingual playschool located two doors down, in Paoli. Bright Day Studio teaches art enrichment classes at Lolo Leo.

  • Barre 3 is a fitness studio located just a few minutes down the road, near Handel’s. Stay tuned to hear more about our exciting upcoming collaboration offering parents a Barre3 class while their kids get creative with us at Bright Day Studio.

  • The Malvern Library is a vibrant, newly renovated library in the township building next to Burke Park. Bright Day Studio holds monthly process art classes there, which are free to the community.

  • The Berwyn Farmer’s Market is a lively market located next to Handel’s Ice Cream. Bright Day Studio provides free children’s activities and sells some of our studio favorites, like art kits and paint sticks!

  • The Malvern Farmer’s Market is a bustling market that takes place right in Burke Park. Bright Day Studio offers free art children’s activities and sells some of our studio favorites, like art kits and paint sticks!
